A Pink Dyed Easter Egg....

At Caleb's one year check up, we found out that he had an ear infection. He was placed on amoxyicillin.....ok....spelling is wrong, ok? All was well....he was feeling better. The day he ended the treatment some pink rashy spots appeared on his body. I watched them as day by day they got more and more on his body. Now, I thought that he'd had a reaction to his MMR Chicken Pox shots. I called the ped on Friday...they said to watch it. Long story short, we went to urgent care on Sat. and they are guessing that he's allergic to the antibiotic......so.....we either try the antibiotic without shots or do another one......interesting!

Kaylin also had a reaction to amoxicillan (sp??). Was this his second time on it? Supposedly, they don't typically show an allergic reaction until their second time on it. That's how it was for Kaylin!! Now we know to tell any Dr. that she's allergic to it so they can give her a different antibiotic if needed. Interesting!!!

Whoa, scarry. Joshua just suffered from his third ear infection. I found a way to treat it without antibiotics and it works great. If this becomes chronic, like it is for my son, try using colloidal silver in the ear and orally. It works naturally and faster than drugs.
